Going Sledging (spelling by Mummy)

8 01 2010

I went sledging today in the snow. And went fast down the hills. And I fell off when I was on my own. The snow was white and it’s cold and I was wearing a hat and a scarf. My sledge is light blue. When I drive sideways on my sledge I put my hand on the snow and it will turn me. We went sledging at the park and sometimes Dad and Gill and me goed down the hills by the school.

When I go sledging I feel happy and cosy. I saw trees with snow and people on their own sledges and the curly whirly bridge.

My sledge is a bit like this

Really loved hearing about your sledging in the park. Still snowy here in London too and Eve (the little girl next door to us) has been sledging with her Daddy on the Mill Field, using the wooden sledge on rails that your mummy and Auntie Josie used when they were little girls. She fell off too, into a ditch, but she wasn’t hurt because the snow was soft. Glad to see Mummy’s spelling is improving.

I’m still enjoying the regularisation of the irregular verbs: goed.
